Rob: Whether we’re talking about students building robots, or the future of farm country, everything we saw today can be boiled down to one word, and that’s competitiveness. Are we competitive as a country in everything from engineering to feeding ourselves? In this global economy, other countries can do what we do, and they can do it, typically, cheaper. The vast farm fields of Brazil are as productive as anything we have here in the U S. And two countries alone, India and China, produce ten times more engineering graduates, each year, than we do. We live in an economy where there is a global war for innovation, and therein lies America’s greatest hope. We can no longer be the lowest cost provider of most goods or services, but we can still be the most innovative. Just ask any of the bright young minds we visited with today. I’m Rob McClendon. Thanks for watching. See you soon.
