Rob: Well the value of the U S dollar continues to shrink, in comparison to other currencies, a decline that’s good for those selling items abroad, but bad for most everyone else. In our weekly telegram, Will Roberts sits down and ponders the cost, of our shrinking dollar. Will Roberts: Now, all I know is what I read on the Internet. And today’s word, well, it’s the root of all evil, money, or, the dollar. Now, the dollar has been going up and down, and down, and down, so low that, well, it’s just rolling now, downhill. I don’t think it will be able to get back up, unless it hits a speed bump, and gets a little air. All signs suggest cashing in some of your American dollars, and turning them into an investment you can count on—gold, silver, and even oil. That’s right, the commodity of oil. Now with the dollar, the U S dollar, moving down every day, people in the U S are becoming more concerned about ending up with just a handful of paper that’s not worth anything. Now, recently I had my own business dealings with a friend, and he was selling me some services, graphic arts. And in the end of our conversation he said to me, it would cost me—50 Euros— Euros?—in Euros. He wasn’t kidding. The days of trading folks—in products—may not be too far off. I’d like to trade you for this, key. I’m sorry, we don’t trade or barter. You don’t trade or barter? The feds seem to be on this cut rate festival, you know. They’re cutting left and right. Now don’t go out and sell your farms, because it’s not worth as much these days. But, you might want to consider talking to an investment professional about what you might want to gamble on, with what’s left of your dollar. And, if that doesn’t work, and you don’t trust that, well, there’s always your mattress. I’m Will Roberts, and this is your weekly telegram.
